How to Apply for Grants

During the 2024 grant cycle, the Community Foundation of the Verdugos (CFV) is accepting requests from any 501(c)(3) headquartered and providing services in the Verdugo Region (Burbank, Glendale, Montrose, La Crescenta, La Canada-Flintridge, Verdugo City, Tujunga, Sunland, Sun Valley and adjacent areas of North Hollywood, Eagle Rock and Atwater Village). If you are not based or headquartered in the Verdugo Region, you must already be providing solid services in the Verdugo Region in order to qualify for funding consideration. This is a competitive cycle enabling nonprofits to request funding for their most important needs that include impact and improving the quality of life in the Verdugo region. If your agency received a grant from the CFV’s 2023 grant cycle, you cannot apply again this year but may do so in 2025.  Final 2024 grant decisions will be made at the end of September 2024. The CFV does not fund programs/needs that have already taken place or have already been purchased. Requests should be for Fall 2024 through Summer 2025 (Application Guidelines contain full details on the CFV grant cycle).

Deadline for application submission is midnight July 1, 2024.
