2022 Grant Applications
Restricted to Children & Youth in Need
During the 2022 grant cycle, the Community Foundation of the Verdugos (CFV) is only accepting requests that focus directly on children and youth in need. Funding requests should address needs that improve the welfare and quality of life for our community’s youth, with special preference given to programs or services directed to young children. The CFV broadly defines welfare to include both physical and mental health, education, safety, nutrition, play, childcare, and familial/parent support. If your agency received a grant from the CFV’s 2021 grant cycle, you are able to apply again this year as long as your request complies with the CFV’s 2022 grant cycle focus.
Deadline for application submission is midnight
June 15, 2022.
- A site visit may be requested if your application is accepted for further consideration
- You will be notified if your application is not accepted
- The grant recipient is required to submit a final report evaluating the outcome of the program and/or the use of funds within 180 days (six months) of the grant’s approval for future funding eligibility
- The organization should be able to support the Foundation in its media efforts by issuing press releases or publicizing the grant in its own publications, signage, plaques, etc.
