Deadline to apply with all supporting documents is March 2, 2020.
Students seeking scholarships from the Community Foundation of the Verdugos (CFV) can review available awards and requirements by going to www.cfverdugos.org/how-to-apply-for-scholarships/.
Scholarship applications will only be accepted online and information about this is also on the CFV’s website. Students, parents, and educators must note that any supporting documents such as academic transcripts or letters of recommendation must be submitted with the online application by the deadline date of March 2, 2020. “Because scholarship applications must be fully complete with all attachments by the deadline date, we urge students to begin now with securing these items,” said CFV Controller Julie Burg. Please email Julie at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or call 818-241-8040.
The majority of scholarship awards are for graduating high school seniors from Burbank, Glendale, and the Foothill Communities of La Crescenta, La Canada-Flintridge, Montrose and Verdugo City. There are a limited number of awards for Glendale Community College students. Visit the Scholarship Office on the GCC campus or contact them at (818) 240-1000 ext.5591 for more information.
